SICK!!!!!!!!!

Just few days ago, my brother told me that some virus had infected into his computer. While he was trying hard to get rid of the annoying virus and spyware, he sought help from Siong Huat – an intermediate computer user, if not an expert. Well, I think my brother had succeeded in getting rid of the virus.

Today, I am forced to admit that my immune system has shut off. Virus intruded into my big-sized body. I feel exhausted, uncomfortable, moody, want to puke, and even had runs to toilet for 3 times throughout the 8 hours working day. Siong Huat helped my brother to get rid of the virus; who is my savior? Doctor, perhaps what has crossed your mind. Indeed, right now I feel that doctor is the most important person that I need to meet straight away.

I just changed to a new job. Due to I am still under probation period, I am required to apply unpaid leave and provide the Medical Certificate (to prove that I am really sick). I roughly estimated on the amount of money that I am about to lose, it was scary! --> near to S$100 for applying a day of MC [estimation of $75 pay per day + $20 - $25 for MC]. This amount of money has straight away stopped me from thinking of getting an MC today or tomorrow.

I just bought 1 packet of Sunshine white bread and NTUC white bread. They are my 3 meals for tomorrow. Hopefully I can recover back asap.. else ........ (I really don't wish to think about how much $ that I need to lose for taking another stupid MC). Gosh!!!!!! Who can help me? Can any doctor cure me with FOC & make sure that I am go to work immediately, without taking any MC? ("FAT HOPE!!!" ; Oops! I heard somebody is shouting out loudly!)

Hopefuly healthy is blessed on all of my friends, or even strangers who may read my post (which I don't think any stranger read my post, not even 10% of my friends are supporting me; Perhaps my blog is really that dull, sux and even irritating.)

孙燕姿 雨天

孙燕姿 雨天
词:小寒
曲:李伟菘

*Please on your speaker now to listen to 雨天 while reading the lyrics.
* Link had been updated; apologise for error occurred on playing the background music since fews days ago.

The latest album by Stephanie Sun, released on 26 September 2006. This album comes with 4 CD & 1 DVD. Two new songs are added into this album, first is 雨天, 2nd is 梦想天空. You must watch the MTV for both of the songs.

Why I like her songs that much? I feel that she sings the songs from her heart, she really did it..

梦想天空 is the 1st part of the story while 雨天 is the 2nd part of the story. However, I still prefer 雨天

McDonald

Remember it was 5 years ago that I had my first McDonalds meal paid by myself. It was McSpicy Chicken Meal. To me, it was just a place for having meal alone or with friends. Well, it can be a place for a couple, too.

Never did I imagine that since last year, McDonald had emerged to be another place for me - Study place. Most of you would wonder, "The place is full of diners and quite noisy, how could I study there?" Well, it crossed my mind before I actually experienced it. My preferable McDonald is located @ Ang Mo Kio [my gf likes the name of AMK ;) ].

The McDonald in Ang Mo Kio is quite big. There are diners, card players, and a lot of students who are doing revision. To put up with the noisy environment, I have to listen to my MP3. Well, I make sure the volume is just nice to cover most of the noise out there. Some of you may wonder, since I need an MP3 player to cover up the noise, why shouldn't I just study at home like most of you? I had tried for plenty of times but I just failed to do so. The "temptation" of my PC, television, bed easily beat my determination to study.

I found that doing revision outside (just dont be @ my comfortable home), I can concentrate more and it is more efficient. Recently, I like to have a cup of McDonald coffee while doing revision. The coffee is strong enough to keep me awake for at least 5 hours (sounds not bad, huh). Again, the effectiveness may vary to different persons.

Tonight, I skipped class again. Instead of sleeping in the lecture hall listening to the subject that I hate & fear the most -- Manufacturing Technology and Materials. I took a bath, rested for half an hour before setting off to the McDonald nearby.

Again, tonight is another fruitful study night for me. Even though I found my study pace tonight is rather slow (as I listen to Yes933 story & some songs dedications), I am quite satisfied with my progress. Perhaps the topics that I studied are not too difficult, I found that I started to like this subject - Maths 3.

Too bad, this McDonald closes @ 11pm, otherwise I might study until 12am before going back home (cannot be too late, else no bus, I have to take taxi -- EXPENSIVE!!!) My gf always say I am crazy, study @ McDonald - a place that she would not able to concentrate in doing revision. I always reply to her that I am different, perhaps I am too lazy and addicted to games.

Next week another 2 class tests coming up. I have to take up the challenge by completing my revisions by this week. Aww.. work full time, study part time, I always feel I dont have time to do revision. However, why other ppl can do it and I dont? Hopefully I see a miracle that I could finish them in time. Sometimes I really hope that I can stop playing games but I will be feeling uneasy if I dont play a game or two every day.

Good luck to all of you, who are taking tests & exams soon. Let's WORK HARD~

~~努力!努力!再努力!~~

*PS* The McDonald in Singapore are opened 24 huors @ Friday, Saturday & eve of Public Holidays

中秋节 - Mid-Autumn Festival

Today is Lunar 15th of August, AKA Mid-Autumn Festival. After whole day working & Part Time study, I managed to go back @ 9pm. Looking around, most of the people are going for celebration with their loved ones.

Perhaps:
独在异乡为异客, 每逢佳节倍思亲

I am the “special” one, who is going back home with some hopes --> hope that I can meet my angel online as we had lost in touch for nearly 64 hours. I know she had arrived in her destination and busy with her life over there. However, I just hope that she could online a while and say Hi to me…..

Along the way back home, I saw many groups of people boarding & alighting @ MRT station, either family or couple. The children smiled happily carrying their lantern in the MRT. Punggol Park is just around my living place. I saw groups of teenagers heading to & back from there. As the haze situation worsened, I can see that it is full moon, with quite a thick mist in the sky. The mist looks like the same that we can see in Genting Highlands, just this mist is not cold and in addition with some smell.

At first I wonder, in such situation why they still can celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival outdoor. Well, I can’t stand of breathing any longer outside even the smell is light. Now, my windows are tightly closed. However, after giving a second thought, it might be a blessing. We can enjoy the special Mid-Autumn Festival. As the mist is trying to hide the shy moon, it gave me an idea of being in few thousands years ago (as what we always see from TV series).

This may happen just once in a lifetime. Hereby, I wish all of you enjoy this festival with your family, friends or your loved one. Cherish the time with your closed one.

~~ 中秋节快乐 ~~
