What a week!

Photoes updated !!!!!!
Hoo hoo hoo... The story began from last friday --> 18 Feb 2006.

As usual, after the tiring working hours, I rushed to NTU for my part time study. Friday will be the only class that I won't be late. This is because I off from work half an hour earlier than other days --> 5.30pm. This is the only day that I won't be sweat all over my body because I will take my own sweet time going to NTU ^.^ . I will sit at the first cabin heading towards Boon Lay MRT station. What am I doing in MRT? Usually I will day dream.. :P . Besides day dream, I will take out the FREE newspaper --> TODAY and solve the Sudoku. Sudoku looks like maths problem but actually it is absolutely not. It is only logical problem. There is free Sudoku for you to play through yahoo. Try it out and you'd love it!

Okay, okay. I've been drifted away from what I wanted to say. From Boon Lay MRT station, I will take bus 179 to NTU. Then I will reward myself with a luxurious dinner of the week to boost up my spirit. (sounds weird? The same feeling goes to me, too). What can be the luxurious dinner for me? It is neither economical chinese cuisine nor mee. It is either Japanese cuisine or western cuisine, ranging from S$3.00 ~ S$ 3.50. Yes, this will be the luxurious dinner of the week for me, SY :P . Can't agree with me? No, you have to take that! I insist!!! After having the fulfilling dinner, I will enjoy myself with a bowl of dessert or a cup of fruit juice. While waiting for my friends to join me at the canteen, I started day dreaming (once again... how come I just can't finish with my day dreaming?) Wonder what I always day dreaming about? Just about games, my future or something that troubles me....

So 17 Feb was just a special day for me. After the lectures that ended early at 9.20pm (scheduled until 10pm), we spotted the free game machines just not far away from the library. Yes! Richard, Kah Wei and I were so excited that we could play the games absolutely FREE!!! There was one of my favourite game --> DAYTONA!!! Due to this is free games and only 1 machine, we had to queue up and take turns to play the game. The results were not satisfying as I could only raced until 2nd place of the Advanced route.. My skills are turning rusty! Still, it was free.. so I won't feel too upset. After playing a few rounds of Daytona, I joined my friends for the soccer game. Player needs to control the movement by controlling the joystick while the ball's passing and shooting are controlled by kicking the ball at the bottom of the machine. Due to the middle two ball's mechanism are too much friction, I needed to kick hard on the ball for the passing or shooting. Suddenly, I felt that some particles are under my feet.. I was so sad to find out my shoes are spoilt.. One of the shoes opened up its "mouth" and said HELLO to me!!! I stopped playing instantly but it won't close its mouth anymore.. Awwwww..... :(
I left with no choice but to drag my feet back home...

Monday morning --> 20 Feb. 2006. I took out my new shoes, which my sister bought for me around a year ago. I wore it during a few occasions but I still consider it as new. This is because it looks new to me!!! I will consider anything as new as long as it looks new to me.. On that day, my manager had something urgent and important task and delegated to us (all engineers and EAs). The deadline was evening time. This was quite a tedious task and my group had to work OT to finish it.. I worked until 8.30pm then I rushed to Jurong East Library to meet Kah Wei. While I was rushing to the lift, I felt something kept hitting the bottom of my shoes.. I had an inauspicious feeling.. I slowly redirected my eyes to observe my shoes while lifting up my right foot. DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw my shoe opened up its mouth from the backheel side!!! I was so rushed because my company shuttle bus was going off in 2 minutes. There was no way for me to go back to my office and settle it. I quickly took out my one and only rubber band to tie it.

After reaching Jurong East Mrt station, I dragged my feet to a nearby small foodstall. I was loitering behind that stall for 5 minutes.. Finally, I braced up and asked for some rubber bands from the stall keeper.. This auntie was so polite asking me to wait for a while. When she gave the rubber bands to me, she shouted," Aiyo, why the person like this again!" Without knowing the reason of her shouts, my face went red straight away!!! From the converstation with this kind auntie, there was a boy around 14 years old also asked for rubber bands from her just a few days before. Then she said, maybe few days later an uncle would come and ask for rubber bands. My friend, Kah Wei, just laughing at me.. That auntie suggested me to tie more rubber bands as they would break if I walked for long journey. Wow, I felt my foot was wrapped by something.. LoL.. I had to pretend walking normally even though my blood was stucked somewhere around the rubber bands.. After enduring an hour MRT journey, I had to walk for 10 ~ 15 minutes back home. Once I reached home, I quickly took out the hurting rubber bands out of my shoes.. I used superglue to glue the two pair of shoes before letting them dry nearby the windows.

Today --> 21st Feb 06. My shoes (the new pair) started opening its mouth again. I had to borrow the slipper from my supervisor. My colleague, Chan, helped me to find Elephant brand superglue. After applying the superglue, I put some weights with total more than 10kg. At the end of the day, I wore my shoes and went back.. I found my shoes seems like sinking down a bit (should be due to weights). Just don't care about it. Hope that it won't come off easily.. I have lots of rubber bands prepared in my bag. Hehe...

Hope that you guys won't have such experiences in the future.. 2 pair of shoes spoilt 3 times within 4 days... What a week!

*cheers*
